Tickets are available to both general public and industry and it's an all ages event.
Network Ten's broadcast commences at 7.00pm with the ARIA Red Carpet special, followed by the Awards at 8.30pm.

The ARIA Awards recognise excellence and innovation across all genres of Australian music. On 2 March 1987, the inaugural ARIA Awards took place at Sydney's Sheraton Wentworth Hotel in front of 500 industry guests. Twenty-one years later, the ARIAs are held in front of 3,000 industry guests, 6,000 members of the general public, and watched by a peak viewing audience of 1.5 million people via Network Ten's live broadcast.
The ARIA Awards is the culmination of a 'season of events'. The ARIA Hall of Fame event is held July 18, the winners of the Artisan Awards are announced at the Nominations Event (September 19), and the Fine Arts Awards are held this year on October 15.
There are 28 award categories - 26 are peer-voted by a voting panel consisting, in 2006, of 1,313 industry members. Two awards (Highest Selling Album and Highest Selling Single) are based on audited sales results. The Hall of Fame and Lifetime Achievement Awards are awarded at the discretion of the ARIA Board.
The ARIA Awards and its associated events are produced by Mark Pope Music on behalf of ARIA.
