ARIA has unveiled plans for the first ever ARIA Week to run in the lead up to the ARIA Awards from November 25 - 28 in Sydney.
Presented in partnership with Destination NSW, ARIA Week will form a week long celebration of Australian music in the lead up to the biggest event on the music calendar - the ARIA Awards, which take place in Sydney on Thursday November 29 at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
ARIA Week will play host to a number of special gigs, events and conferences that the public can participate in across a broad spectrum of genres and subjects.
From the discovery of new and unearthed talent to exploring the world of Electronic Music, Hip Hop and Dance, to the recognition of Australia's best bands and artists, ARIA Week will celebrate all that encapsulates Australian Music.

Universal Music Australia kick the week off with a bang, showcasing artists from the thriving Island Records Australia, Mercury Records and Dew Process stables.
Headlining the night with aplomb is no stranger to a rock n roll stage, ARIA Award winning Bertie Blackman. Her fourth album, the masterfully dark art /pop of 'Pope Innocent X' (Oct 12) is released via her new home at Mercury Records. Bertie, fresh off the road from a massive national jaunt with The Rubens, will grace the OAF stage for a special trio set before hitting the road with the inimitable Gotye on his December tour. FasterLouder Night- Upstairs Beresford Hotel
Featuring Alpine, Oh Mercy and Oliver Tank.
Australia's online music community FasterLouder will be helping to kick off a massive ARIA Week of events with a showcase featuring some of Australia's best and most exciting live acts. On Monday November 26, the Beresford Upstairs will host Melbourne six-piece Alpine, fresh from their ARIA nomination for Breakthrough Artist, and Oh Mercy performing tracks from their ARIA nominated third album 'Deep Heat'. This Masterclass, held at Rock Lily on Monday 26 November, will be a forum for the Industry and music business students to discuss the opportunities for Australian record companies, publishers, artists and promoters.

triple j Unearthed Night - Oxford Art Factory
November is triple j's Ausmusic Month - a 30 day celebration of the incredible Australian music being made. triple j Unearthed is triple j's platform to promote the best new independent Australian artists and has helped discover many of Australia's leading acts, including last years' ARIA winners Boy & Bear and Art vs Science. So it was a natural fit for triple j to get involved in ARIA Week with an Unearthed night. This event will showcase some of the hottest emerging Aussie acts out there. Headlining the night are breakthrough band of the year, The Rubens, who will be bringing their soul soaked blues to the Oxford Arts Factory on Tuesday 27th November, alongside Brisbane electronic duo Yes You and Unearthed High 2012 winner Asta. triple j predict big things from these artists (and maybe even an ARIA or two in the coming years!).

Sony Music Entertainment are proud to showcase a chart topping, sensational night of Aussie Pop music in the run-up to the 26th ARIA awards. The line-up for the evening can only be described as poptastic, featuring some of Australian's favourite pop artists. ARIA award winner Jessica Mauboy will head line the evening in true Gotcha style, joined by Aussie Hip Hop dance collective and ARIA #1 recipients Justice Crew. MGM & SPA Australia are proud to present a night that will feature some fantastic local artists that are starting to generate some serious buzz on the radio and on stages around the country. The Trouble With Templeton have received rave reviews for their debut album, Bleeders. Following the singles 'Bleeders' and 'I Wrote A Novel', 'Six Months In A Cast' is currently being heavily supported by Triple J and community radio. Invited to play at CMJ in October, The Trouble With Templeton has also played shows with Passenger, Husky, Matt Corby, Sparkadia, Big Scary, Of Monster and Men, Father John Misty and Pinback in the last 18 months. Battleships have also been added to the already stellar line-up.
The Falls released their 'Hollywood' EP in August this year, produced by Tony Buchen (Old Man River, Andy Bull, WIM, Washington) and featuring the track 'Home' as heard on Triple J. Their emotionally fuelled live performances are compelling to watch, sometimes heartbreakingly so, garnering reviews such as "intoxicating melodies and gorgeous harmonies" and "their strength lies in their ability to convey raw emotion and wisdom in their lyrics". Consistently delivering successful records and putting on high energy club shows week to week around the country, The Only have cemented themselves as one of Australia's most formidable duos. With the enormous triple j high-rotation success of their last single 'Drag Me Down', The Only have been confirmed to mix for Ministry of Sound's The Annual 2013, as well as blast the country with another round of unforgettable live performances this summer. Since setting forth on his mission to create a better world through fresh-making, Tom Piper, the Sydney-side vibe-master, has positioned himself at the forefront of the Australian dance music scene, being placed Top 10 in both 2011 and 2012 on the inthemix DJ Poll. On his latest rolled-out bass number 'Can't Kill The Party', Tom Piper has teamed up with two of the UK's finest - mic controller Majestic and Brummie bad-boy Micky Slim. 'Can't Kill The Party' has just been freshly squeezed to clubs and radio around the country, and with Tom's inclusion to mix a disc for Ministry of Sound's The Annual 2013, as well as tour for the release, seeing and hearing The Freshness this summer will be delightfully unavoidable!
